Guangqiang Jiang Ph.D.
A listed inventor on more than a dozen US patents, Dr. Guangqiang Jiang headed the AMF team that developed the ceramic to metal braze technique that effectively bonds an electrode to a ceramic casing. He was responsible for developing the implantable packaging for Radio Frequency Microstimulator (RFM), Functional Electrical Stimulator Battery Powered Microstimulator (FEBPM) and Implantable Myoelectric Sensor (IMES). Dr. Jiang is now working on evaluating the degradation of implanted materials, in order to improve stability.
